A pregnant Nigerian lady got married to an old man after the man who got her pregnant absconded, IgbereTV has learnt.


Reacting to pictures of the traditional marriage shared on Twitter, a Twitter user, @TheOliviaLife stated that the marriage of the young lady with the old man was arranged by the lady's people after the man who Impregnated the lady absconded.



She wrote;


"Nope. The girl is pregnant and the person that impregnated her has absconded so her people arrange with an old man to come and marry her so that she can give birth under his protection and the child will answer his name.

It’s practiced in my place and I try to fight against it."

  This beautiful baby and her elder sister were stoned dead and was dumped at the canal before UNILAG maingate, at Abule Oja. They alerted the social workers at the Family Welfare Centre at Birrel Sabo, who came immediately and removed the baby from the canal. Man plans to organise a befitting burial for his late dog

    A Ghanaian man has shocked many after announcing plans to hold a burial for his late dog known as Mr Dodoo. From what we gathered, Mr Dodoo and his owner have been so close that they bonded together and its loss came as a big blow to the owner. Looking at the bond they shared while alive, he decided to organise a befitting burial for the dog just like how he would have done if it was to be a human being.
